BLC was incorporated on August 09, 1977 under the Name & Style Blue Leaf Corporation, In recognition of the Company's multi-business portfolio encompassing a wide range of businesses - Fast Moving Consumer Goods comprising Foods & Beverages, Rice, Indian Spices, & Indian Speciality Teas - the full stops in the Company's name were removed effective September 10, 2002. The Company now stands rechristened BLC.
